Before we go into the benefits of Physio-Veda, let’s learn a little about what a Marma is.
What is Marma?
The National Health Portal of India defines a Marma point as a junction on the body where two or more types of tissues meet, such as muscles, veins, ligaments, bones or joints. According to the Oxford dictionary, a Marma point is a sensitive point in the body through which energy is believed to flow, and which is believed to govern particular mental or physical functions. Thus the practice of massaging such points gives a therapeutic effect on the body and heals various types of ailments.
